Director General of Sports Wishes Sri Lankan Bodybuilding Contingent Heading for Mr. Universe Championship!
The Sri Lankan bodybuilding team departed for Pattaya, Thailand yesterday to compete in the prestigious Mr. Universe 2026 International Bodybuilding Championship.
The tournament will feature elite athletes from over 40 countries and is scheduled to take place from June 27th to 29th.
Prior to their departure, the Sri Lankan contingent was officially met and encouraged by the Director General of the Department of Sports Development, Mr. S. Achchuthan. The Director General commended the dedication of our athletes and extended his warmest wishes for them to achieve outstanding success on the international stage.
