The Procurement Department of the Department of Sports Development is responsible for managing all procurement activities in a transparent, efficient, and cost-effective manner in accordance with government procurement guidelines and applicable laws and regulations. The Department ensures the timely acquisition of goods, works, and services required for the effective functioning of the Department and the successful implementation of sports development programs.

The Procurement Department is involved in procurement planning, preparation of bidding documents, evaluation of bids, contract administration, and coordination with suppliers and service providers. By adhering to principles of fairness, accountability, and value for money, the Department supports operational efficiency and promotes good governance.
